Silvera for Seniors provides affordable housing for lower-income Calgary seniors.
Board Information
Term: Up to 3 years.
May hold consecutive terms of office as long as their aggregate years of
service do not exceed a maximum of nine years in the member’s lifetime.
Silvera for Seniors is governed by a board, comprised of a maximum of thirteen members appointed by Council of The City of Calgary.

Silvera for Seniors is not part of the City Clerk's advertisement, recruitment and appointment of the Boards, Commissions and Committees process.
Appointments are made by City Council at the Organizational Meeting of Council in October of each year.
