TERM:

The term of office of Directors will normally be three years. 

The Board may by Resolution determine that some or all vacant Directors’ positions will have a term of less than three (3) years.

A Director may serve for up to nine years, by any combination of terms.

The City of Calgary may nominate up to three Public Members to be appointed as Directors.

Upon being nominated by the City of Calgary, the nominated Public Members shall be presented for appointment by the Directors of Platform Calgary. The Board of Directors may accept or reject the nominations.

The appointment term will begin on February 01, following the Organizational Meeting of Council and will end on January 31, three years later or for a term determined by the Board.
